Thanks about the post and the photos! I think that a lot of Jews and Christians have found out that they used to be Jewish. They were probably Jewish and then either converted by force or by choice. 

Also Jews and Muslims living in Spain at one time were forced to leave or convert into Christians, so these people especially are often surprised about their families religious background! 

I saw on your travel website that you are from Israel. I went there for my first time this winter!
